ETS provides Human Resources consultancy and technology to blue-chip UK and international businesses. ETS are leaders in the areas of performance management, 360 degree feedback, appraisal systems and employee surveys. Over one million employees use an ETS solution.

Brief/Objectives

To improve organic Search Engine positions (SERPS) and to drive new leads via the ETS website. ETS are a well known and popular supplier yet ETS was achieving disappointing search positioning. ETS had not engaged an SEO provider before and as a result we worked to a very tight budget whilst also supporting their internal search engine optimisation education.

Strategy

B2B search engine optimisation is a notoriously difficult part of the online marketing puzzle, at grow* we have experts with extensive experience in B2B marketing and SEO.

As a result when contacted by ETS we were quickly able to understand the business and its drivers as well as to address technical and content issues on the ETS website.

We created a series of specific SEO focused pages optimised for target key phrases and restructured the website to improve internal linkage by maximising the relevancy and authority of each link. With the website in order, phase two of the strategy was to improve the external link profile of the website and increase social media visibility.

Using a combination of internal systems and the knowledge of our team, we were able to deliver a vast improvement in the search engine positions for a series of relevant key phrases targeting potential customers.

Results

Within 10 months of contacting grow* ETS has radically improved its search engine positioning.

ETS has now achieved position 1-4 for their leading 7 key phrases and position 5-10 for a further 3 key phrases.

The improvement has led to a website which delivers against its goal of B2B lead generation and in turn leads and contracts with several blue chip clients.
